I am a Hart County native and am so happy to give back to the community that has given so much to me. My family is an integral part of my life. My husband of 29 years is Kenny and we now have four adult children: our son Aaron, his wife Hannah, our daughter Abby and her husband Jordan. Last year, we welcomed our first grandchild, Caroline.
I have spent a total of 27 years in education. I have taught in a variety of settings, beginning my career as the FMD teacher at Hart County High. From there, I moved to the elementary unit and taught special education for a total of nine years. I went to the Kentucky Autism Training Center at U of L where I was a trainer and ad hoc instructor of graduate courses in the special education department.
For the past foorteenteen years, I have been at Munfordville Elementary teaching either fourth or fifth grades. In the 2019-2020 school year, I am teaching fourth grade math and science.
