Welcome to Math Intervention
Parents:
Hello, my name is Shelli Templeman and I am so excited to have your child in Math Intervention this year. Let me begin by telling you a little bit about myself. I received my Bachelors in Education from Western Kentucky University in 2007 and taught First Grade here at Munfordville for eight years. I also received my Masters to become a Reading and Writing Specialist in May 2012 from the University of the Cumberlands. I feel very blessed to work in such a great place with so many people devoted to making sure your children reach their potential.
This year I start a new adventure as the new math intervention teacher. I am very excited to start this new journey. Leaving the classroom was a big decision for me to make, but after much prayer, I am very pleased with my decision.
I have high expectations for my students because I want to push them to their full potential. I want them to be the absolute best they can be.
I love children and I will assure you that I will show love to your child as if they were my own. I want our classroom to feel like a family and for your child to enter into a loving environment where they feel safe to learn and grow.
Again, I am so excited to begin this year with your child. Also, if you need to speak with me, never hesitate to send me a note, an email, or you may call me during my planning (1:25-2:15) Thanks for everything you do for our students and I look forward to working with you and your child this year.
