Memorial K–3 students enjoyed a special visit from BRAWA and a furry four-legged friend while learning about the importance of pet adoption and animal care.
Students had the opportunity to adopt their own stuffed pet, receive an adoption certificate, create a personalized collar, decorate a home for their new friend, and receive a book and snacks all supported by the efforts of FYRSC, RTA and 5th grade Beta volunteers.
It was a fun, hands-on experience filled with learning and smiles.
