The Board of Education of Hart County (“Board”) is seeking applications for
appointment to fill a vacancy on the Board representing Board Division 5, a
seat formerly held by Tyler Holthouser. The Board will proceed to appoint
an individual to fill this seat until a special election is held in November
2026 to finish the final two years of the existing term pursuant to KRS
160.190. The same seat will be on the ballot in November 2028 for a full
four-year term. More information and the application form can be obtained
at the Board office at 25 Quality Street in Munfordville or by visiting the
Board’s website at hart.kyschools.us. The Board Division Boundary map
can also be viewed on the Board’s website. Applications are due at the
Board office by Thursday, August 21 at 4:00 pm.

Maintaining a team 3.88 GPA for the 2024-2025 school year, the 2024 Lady Raider varsity volleyball team earned a spot on the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic list. This award is given by the AVCA to high schools across the nation to teams excelling in the classroom.

This registration link is for any athlete who will be playing a high school sport for the 2025-2026 school year. It has the required documentation that coaches need. Parents are able to upload the physical, sign the random drug testing form, complete the student pick-up list, and complete the emergency contact and emergency medical information.

High School Athletics Registration 2025-2026
Students who are interested in trying out for cross country, golf, cheerleading, dance, soccer, girls volleyball, boys volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, archery, baseball, softball, track and field, and tennis will complete this online athletic packet, which includes uploading the KHSAA physical evaluation form. All fields must be completed before a student can participate in tryouts or other activities within athletics. All information must be submitted prior to the first day of tryouts. If you have questions or concerns, please email the Athletic Director before the first day of practice/tryouts so that the issue can be resolved.
