Middle School Volleyball tryouts will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Memorial Elementary School from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A current KHSAA physical is required to participate.
Transportation: Student-athletes may ride the activity bus from their elementary schools to the high school, then board a bus to Memorial.

2025-2026 KSA Results
Each spring, students across Kentucky take state assessment tests known as KSA which stands for the Kentucky Summative Assessment. This annual statewide testing program is given to public school students in grades 3 through 8, 10, and 11. It is designed to check student proficiency and progress based on the state academic standards in subjects like reading, mathematics, science, social studies, and writing. For KSA, students receive a separate scale score and performance level (Distinguished, Proficient, Apprentice, and Novice). Your child’s individual scores will be sent home by your child’s school very soon. Additionally, Kentucky uses a five-color rating system to evaluate overall school performance, ranging from red (the lowest) through orange, yellow, and green, to blue (the highest). The ratings consider several measures of academic achievement and school quality, including test performance, school climate and safety, and at the high school level, graduation rates and postsecondary readiness.
We are proud to share the following accomplishments from our 2025-2026 KSA test results:
> There were fewer Novice scores across the district in 3rd grade Reading, 7th grade Reading, 7th grade Science, and 11th grade Writing.
> There were increases in the percentage of Proficient and Distinguished scores across the district in 3rd grade Reading and Math, 4th grade Math, 6th grade Reading and Math, 7th grade Reading and Science, and 11th grade Writing.
> Our Middle School students across the district showed increases in Science, Social Studies, and Writing scores.
> As a district, our Quality of School Climate and Safety was rated as “High” for Elementary and Middle schools and “Very High” for the high school.
> The high school saw an increase in Postsecondary Readiness and its Graduation Rate.
Additionally, we are excited to share that the high school ranked 3rd in our Region overall, was in the Top 5 in all tested areas in the Region, and ranks 1st in the Region on the last four year average!
We are also thrilled to share that student attendance has averaged 94% or higher for the first two months of the school year which is about a quarter percentage higher than the two previous school years.
We continue to focus on using student testing data to positively impact the instruction and interventions used in each school to help each student achieve academic growth and success. Thanks to our parents and guardians for your continued support and encouragement as we work together to educate our future.

Good Morning! Just a reminder if you have not done your health insurance you must do so by Oct. 26. Everyone must go into the site this time it will not roll over. If you do not complete this you will not have any health insurance next year. It is easier to complete this on a computer versus your phone or tablet. Registration is now open for boys and girls youth basketball and youth cheerleading. Registration is online and is open. We have extended the registration date through this Saturday, October 17. The cost is $50 per child and for students in grades 2nd-5th. Tonight is the 2026 Homecoming Football game vs McLean County. The game will not start until 7:30 pm. As a result, gates will open beginning at 6:00 pm.
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 4:30 pm this afternoon. The annual Hall of Fame inductee for 2026 will be announced prior to the game at approximately 7:15 pm. The Homecoming Court will be crowned at halftime of the football game.

Due to the rising operational costs of hosting athletic events, general single-game admission prices for the 2026–2027 school year will increase by $1, making regular single-game tickets $8 per person.
However, thanks to the immense generosity of our athletic donors and community partners, we are thrilled to announce several new opportunities to keep our games accessible and affordable for families and students:

High School Students: FREE admission to all home regular-season games, courtesy of our generous athletic donors! (Excludes post-season play and tournament games.)
Middle School Students (Grades 6–8): Can purchase the new $30 Raider Spirit Card. This card grants entry to all home high school regular-season athletic events.
Please note: The Raider Spirit Card is valid for the 2026–2027 school year only, excludes post-season/tournaments, and requires the student to be accompanied and supervised by a paying adult.
These Raider Spirit Cards will be sold at all middle schools.
These cards are not for middle school athletic events.
